Trees That Reach Away From Evil

Just over the Pennsylvania line near Chads Ford is a long windy road known as Devil's Road. The road gets its name from a Satanist Church rumored to sit back in the woods along the road. The legend of the road's haunted history begins several years before the church fell in to the hands of the Satanist cult. It was originally built as a mental institution for the DuPont Children. During this time, The KKK was active in the area and hung many victims from the trees that border the field surrounding the institution. in the 1970's, the building was sold to a Satanist cult, who supposedly conducted human sacrifices on the property and held other Satanic rituals, summoning forth great evil which plagues the land. It's believed that the trees along this section of the road grow at a slant as if they are reaching away from the evil grounds of the church. To this day, people claim that they have been chased by blacked out SUV's while driving down this road late at night. It is reported that these SUV's are driven by members of the cult patrolling the road to keep people away from their dark rituals. The few who have attempted to trek through these woods at night in search of the church have experienced some unusual activity. There have been reports of screaming in the woods, along with the sounds of branches cracking as if someone was being hung from them. A few witnesses described upside down crosses on the windows of the building. Reportedly years back the local news paper sent a reporter to the church in an attempt to debunk the urban legend, however, the reporter was refused an interview.  There is little proof as to whether or not these claims are true, but regardless of how true they are, there is definitely something unsettling about driving down this dark road late at night.
